About the RN Resource Float Position

This hospital RN float pool job offers a dynamic practice environment where you will provide professional nursing care across multiple inpatient departments, excluding PACU and Labor & Delivery. As a Resource Float RN, you will support patient care delivery through crisis staffing, case management support, discharge planning, and physician clinic collaboration.

Qualifications for RN Resource Float

• Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Oregon required prior to start
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required at hire
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
• Strong clinical judgment, delegation, and medication administration skills

Responsibilities of the RN Resource Float Nurse

• Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
• Provide crisis staffing support throughout the facility
• Collaborate with physician clinics within a Primary Medical Home Model
• Support discharge planning and patient education initiatives
• Administer and evaluate prescribed medications and treatments
• Maintain accurate, complete documentation for revenue integrity and compliance
• Advocate for patient rights and ensure safe, high-quality care delivery
• Demonstrate competency across neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations as applicable
