Position Overview
IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Tri-State region. In this role, you will care for patients with a mix of medical, post-surgical, and cardiac monitoring needs in a dynamic acute care environment.
This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.
Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.

Qualifications of Med/Surg/Telemetry RN
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
- Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of Ohio
- NCLEX required
- BLS required upon hire
- ACLS preferred within 30 days of hire
- Previous acute care experience preferred
- Experience with telemetry monitoring considered an asset
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical, post-surgical, and cardiac conditions
- Perform detailed patient assessments, including continuous telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Assist with post-operative care and recovery, including patient stabilization
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and patient safety standards
