Position Overview

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Tri-State region. In this role, you will care for patients with a mix of medical, post-surgical, and cardiac monitoring needs in a dynamic acute care environment.

This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.

Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.

Qualifications of Med/Surg/Telemetry RN

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
  • Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of Ohio
  • NCLEX required
  • BLS required upon hire
  • ACLS preferred within 30 days of hire
  • Previous acute care experience preferred
  • Experience with telemetry monitoring considered an asset

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with medical, post-surgical, and cardiac conditions
  • Perform detailed patient assessments, including continuous telemetry monitoring and interpretation
  • Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms, identifying and responding to changes in condition
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Assist with post-operative care and recovery, including patient stabilization
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and patient safety standards
