Position Overview

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time day or night shift opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Coastal Georgia region. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care across a diverse adult patient population while working as a direct employee of the hospital.

This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.

Compensation

Base Rate (2+ years of experience):

  • $34.67 – $48.16/hour (Medical/Surgical)

Bonus & Relocation

  • Sign-on bonus ranging from $1,500 to $7,500 depending on contract length
  • Relocation bonus ranging from $1,000 to $3,000
  • Higher incentives available for longer-term commitments (1 to 3 years)

Qualifications of Medical/Surgical RN

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
  • Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of Georgia
  • NCLEX required
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience preferred

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions, post-surgical needs, and chronic illnesses
  • Perform detailed patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in condition
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Prepare and support patients before and after surgical procedures
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and recovery plans
  • Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies and standards
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and patient safety standards
  • Respond effectively to medical emergencies and changing patient conditions
