Position Overview

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Maternity Care Center Registered Nurses (RNs) for a full-time night shift opportunity with a U.S. hospital in the Coastal Georgia region. In this role, you will provide compassionate, patient-centred care to mothers and newborns while working as a direct employee of the hospital.

This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.

Compensation

Base Rate (2+ years of experience):

  • $34.67 – $48.16/hour

Bonus & Relocation

  • Sign-on bonus ranging from $1,500 to $7,500 depending on contract length
  • Relocation bonus ranging from $1,000 to $3,000
  • Higher bonuses available for longer-term commitments (1 to 3 years)

Qualifications of Maternity Care RN

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
  • Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of Georgia
  • NCLEX required
  • Experience in maternity, labour & delivery, or women’s health preferred

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages
  • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, including vital signs and fetal heart rate interpretation
  • Assist with labour, delivery, and immediate postpartum care in collaboration with physicians and the care team
  • Identify and respond to obstetric emergencies and complications
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
  • Support and educate mothers and families on childbirth, breastfeeding, newborn care, and recovery
  • Perform newborn assessments and monitor for any signs of distress or complications
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and standards
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and patient-centred environment for families during a major life moment
