Position Overview

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurses (RNs) for a full-time opportunity in Northern New Jersey. In this role, you will provide high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This position requires a 3-year commitment. Strong option for nurses looking for stability, U.S. experience, and a long-term immigration pathway.

This opportunity is open to Canadian citizens eligible for the TN visa.

Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.

Compensation

• $41.24 – $53.47 USD/hour based on experience
• Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus available

Qualifications of ICU RN

• Canadian citizenship (required for TN visa eligibility)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• NCLEX-RN completed
• VisaScreen (CGFNS) completed or in process
• Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of New Jersey
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience; ICU experience preferred
• CCRN certification considered an asset

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients
• Perform continuous monitoring including hemodynamic and cardiac assessments
• Administer IV medications, drips, and treatments safely and accurately
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans
• Communicate diagnostic results and patient status updates effectively
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
