Position Overview

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Emergency Department Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Southern California coastal region. In this role, you will deliver fast-paced, high-quality care to patients presenting with acute and critical conditions.

This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.

Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.

Compensation

• $49.39 – $66.39/hour based on experience

Qualifications of Emergency Room RN

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
• Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of California
• NCLEX required
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS and PALS (or ENPC) required within 30 days of hire
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation required within 30 days
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience; ER experience preferred
• CEN certification preferred

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform rapid triage, assessment, and prioritization of patients based on acuity
• Provide emergency care for trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and other acute conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions accurately and efficiently
• Assist with critical procedures such as intubation, resuscitation, and trauma management
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and respond immediately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate, real-time documentation in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA regulations and patient safety protocols
• Coordinate with social services and follow reporting requirements when necessary
