Position Overview
IntelliStaff Medical is seeking experienced Cardiac Critical Care Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Greater Los Angeles region. In this highly specialized role, you will care for critically ill cardiac patients, including those recovering from open heart surgery.

This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.
Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.
Compensation
- $43.68 – $62.41/hour based on experience

Qualifications of Cardiac ICU RN
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
- Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of California
- NCLEX required
- BLS and ACLS required upon hire
- Completion of Critical Care training preferred
- Recent critical care experience required
- Open heart (cardiac surgery) experience required
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients, including post-operative open heart cases
- Perform continuous hemodynamic monitoring and interpret complex cardiac data
- Manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, and life-support equipment
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products with precision
- Recognize and respond rapidly to cardiac emergencies and changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams to manage complex care plans
- Communicate diagnostic results and patient status updates effectively to physicians
- Educate patients and families on recovery expectations and cardiac care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
