Position Overview

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Kansas City region. In this role, you will support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures while ensuring patient safety throughout all stages of care.

This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.

Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly rates based on experience

Qualifications of Cath Lab RN

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
  • Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of Kansas
  • NCLEX required
  • BLS and ACLS required upon hire
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, ICU, ER, or critical care setting required
  • Strong cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring knowledge preferred

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including assessments and education
  • Assist cardiologists during procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies
  • Monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures
  • Operate and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment
  • Provide post-procedure care, monitoring for complications and ensuring patient stability
  • Respond quickly to emergencies such as arrhythmias, cardiac events, or bleeding
  • Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient care activities
  • Stay current with advancements in cardiac care and interventional procedures
