Position Overview
IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. In this role, you will assist with life-saving cardiac procedures and provide specialized care before, during, and after interventions.
This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.
Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rates based on experience
- $20,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates (details discussed during interview)

Qualifications of Cath Lab RN
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
- Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of Texas
- NCLEX required
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or Critical Care experience required (ICU, ER, or CVICU acceptable)
- BLS and ACLS required upon hire
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and patient monitoring
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including assessments and pre-procedure education
- Assist cardiologists during procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies
- Monitor patients throughout procedures, including hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized cath lab equipment and monitoring systems
- Recognize and respond rapidly to emergencies such as arrhythmias, cardiac arrest, or bleeding complications
- Provide post-procedure care, monitor recovery, and ensure patient stability prior to transfer or discharge
- Administer medications, including sedation and cardiac-related therapies
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all phases of patient care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
