Position Overview
IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Detroit Metro region. In this role, you will provide specialized care to patients undergoing cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures in a high-acuity environment.
This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.
Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rates based on experience
- $15,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates (details discussed during interview)

Qualifications of Cath Lab RN
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
- Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of Michigan
- NCLEX required
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or Critical Care experience (ICU, ER, or similar) required
- BLS and ACLS required upon hire
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure readiness for each case
- Assist physicians during cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and diagnostic studies
- Continuously monitor hemodynamic data and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures
- Recognize and respond quickly to complications such as arrhythmias, cardiac events, or bleeding
- Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment and ensure proper inventory levels
- Administer medications, including sedation and cardiac-related therapies
- Document all aspects of patient care accurately and in real time
- Collaborate with the cardiovascular team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with safety standards
