Position Overview
IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Kansas City region. In this role, you will play a key part in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions through advanced cardiac procedures.
This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.
Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rates based on experience
- $20,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates (details discussed during interview)

Qualifications of Cath Lab RN
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
- Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of Missouri
- NCLEX required
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or Critical Care experience (ICU, ER, or similar) required
- BLS and ACLS required upon hire
- Strong understanding of cardiac procedures and patient monitoring
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures through assessments and pre-procedure education
- Assist cardiologists during procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology studies
- Monitor patient hemodynamics and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures
- Operate and troubleshoot specialized cath lab equipment and diagnostic tools
- Recognize and respond quickly to emergencies such as arrhythmias, cardiac events, or bleeding complications
- Provide post-procedure care, ensuring patient stability prior to transfer or discharge
- Administer medications, including sedation and cardiac-related therapies
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation across all phases of care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
