IntelliStaff Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Oncology for a full-time permanent position in a Joint Commission accredited acute care hospital. This opportunity includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs and complete U.S. state licensing support.

Position Overview – Medical Surgical Oncology
As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (Med Surg RN) on the unit, you will plan, coordinate, and deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse adult patient population, including oncology and complex medical-surgical cases. This role includes leadership responsibilities such as directing ancillary staff and serving in charge capacity as assigned.
The RN practices within the state Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Ethics for Nurses, and established hospital policies and standards of care.
Qualifications – Medical Surgical RN
- Active or eligible for RN licensure in the specified state
- NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican RNs
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Previous Medical Surgical or Oncology RN experience preferred
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift
Responsibilities – Med Surg / Oncology Registered Nurse
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to medical surgical and oncology patients
- Assess, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and oncology-related treatments as ordered
- Monitor for acute changes in condition and communicate with interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
- Delegate and supervise ancillary staff in accordance with scope of practice
