Postpartum Registered Nurse Job

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Postpartum Registered Nurses for a full-time permanent position in South Carolina. This opportunity includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs, along with U.S. state licensing support.

Qualifications of Postpartum RN

• Active or eligible for South Carolina RN license
• NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican RNs
• American Heart Association BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift
• NRP certification preferred
• Previous nursing experience preferred; entry-level candidates considered
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Responsibilities and Duties of a Postpartum RN

• Plan and coordinate nursing care for assigned postpartum mothers and newborns
• Provide safe, evidence-based maternal newborn nursing care
• Assess, monitor, and document maternal recovery and newborn adaptation
• Educate families on newborn care, feeding, recovery, and discharge planning
• Delegate and supervise ancillary personnel implementing care plans
• Perform within the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, hospital policies, and Nursing Standards of Practice
• Assume charge responsibilities as assigned
