IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Orthopedic Surgery Registered Nurses for a full-time permanent position in Northeast Texas. This position includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs as well as U.S. state licensing support for North American nurses.

Qualifications of Orthopedic Surgery RN
- Active Texas RN license or eligibility for licensure. Licensing assistance is available.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican RNs.
- BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
- ASLS certification preferred.
- One year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties of an Orthopedic Surgery RN
- Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic surgery patients.
- Assess patient conditions and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Implement treatment plans and revise care based on patient progress.
- Administer medications, treatments and therapies according to physician orders.
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery and rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document patient assessments, treatments and responses to care accurately.
- Advocate for patient needs while maintaining high standards of safety and quality care.
