IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU registered nurses for full-time, permanent positions. This role includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs, as well as licensing support for North American nurses.
As a Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU RN, you’ll work directly for the hospital and enjoy full employment benefits.
Qualifications of Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU RN:
- Active RN license in specified state. State licensing assistance is available.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- NCLEX required for Canadian and Mexican RNs.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- CCRN certification preferred.
- One year of recent experience in a Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU is preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties of a Neuro Surgical Trauma ICU RN:
- Provide critical care to patients with complex neurological, surgical, and trauma conditions.
- Implement advanced therapeutic interventions and monitor complex equipment such as intracranial pressure monitors.
- Administer continuous neurological assessments and manage respiratory and ventilatory support.
- Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary medical team, including trauma surgeons, neurosurgeons, and other specialists.
- Educate, support, and guide families through traumatic medical events, providing emotional and informational support.
- Participate in critical decision-making and provide end-of-life care when necessary.
