Medical / Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Job

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses for a full-time permanent position in Northeast Texas. This opportunity includes immigration assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs, along with U.S. state licensing guidance for North American nurses.

With this Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse position, you will work as a direct employee of the hospital and receive the full benefits package that comes with working for a respected community-based healthcare system.

Qualifications of Medical/Surgical RN

• Active RN license in Texas (state licensing assistance available)
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) required
• NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican RNs
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
• One year of recent Medical/Surgical experience preferred

Responsibilities and Duties of a Medical/Surgical RN

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Deliver patient-centred care while following hospital, state, and Joint Commission standards
• Utilize universal precautions, asepsis, and infection-control procedures
• Monitor and operate medical equipment used to track and regulate patient conditions
• Communicate closely with physicians, interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families
• Support patient education and participate in care planning to improve outcomes
