Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse Job – Northern California

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse for a full-time permanent position in Northern California. This opportunity includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs, along with U.S. state licensing support.

Qualifications – Medical/Surgical RN

• Current and valid California RN license required
• NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican RNs
• BLS (AHA) required upon hire and must be maintained
• ACLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire and must be maintained
• Previous acute care hospital experience preferred
• Ventilator management experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities and Duties of a Medical/Surgical RN

• Deliver safe patient care using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice on the Medical/Surgical Unit
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians promptly and accurately
• Interpret cardiac monitoring and diagnostic results
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes

• Compensation range: $43.28 – $71.14 per hour, based on experience and credentials
