IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Long-term Care registered nurses for a full-time permanent position on TN Visas. With this Long-term Care registered nurse position, you will work as a direct employee of the hospital and receive all the benefits that entails.
If you are looking for a green card, this is the position for you. Green card sponsorships will require a 3-5 year commitment due to government restrictions.
This position is offering subsidized housing to help with the cost of living in the New York City metropolitan area.
TN Visa eligibility:
- Canadian or Mexican Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing OR State/Provincial RN License
- NCLEX-RN
- Visa Screen (CGFNS) or Visa4Nurses (Josef Silny)
Qualifications of Long-term Care RN:
- Active RN license in specified state or a compact license. State licensing assistance is available.
- Bachelor’s degrees in nursing.
- NCLEX for Canadian and Mexican RNs.
- ACLS and BLS.
- 2+ year recent experience as a Long-term Care RN is required.
Responsibilities and Duties of an Long-term Care RN:
- Manage all aspects of patient’s needs in a subacute care unit.
- Coordinate, oversee and review the work of staff.
- Insure that residents’ rights protocols are followed.
- Help people with disabilities and chronic illness attain optimal function, health, and adapt to a changed lifestyle.
- Provide compassionate care to senior patients.
- Provide care to patients with disabling conditions due to age, stroke, brain injury, arthritis, and dementia.
- Communicate closely with all members of the medical team as well as families and patients.
