Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurse Job – South Carolina

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Inpatient Rehabilitation Registered Nurses for full-time permanent positions in South Carolina. This opportunity includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs, along with U.S. state licensing support.

About the Role – Inpatient Rehabilitation RN

The IP Rehab Registered Nurse plans and coordinates care for a defined group of patients recovering from complex injuries and chronic conditions. This role includes directing ancillary personnel in implementing individualized care plans and may involve charge responsibilities as assigned.

Practice is carried out within the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, hospital policies, and established Nursing Standards of Practice.

Responsibilities and Duties of a Rehabilitation RN

• Assist patients with disabilities or chronic illness in achieving optimal function and independence
• Develop individualized goals and interdisciplinary treatment plans
• Provide care focused on restoring mobility and preventing complications
• Care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, orthopedic trauma, neurological disorders, and multiple medical conditions
• Collaborate closely with physicians, physical and occupational therapists, case managers, and families
• Supervise and delegate care tasks to support staff as appropriate

Qualifications of Rehabilitation RN

• Active or eligible for South Carolina RN license
• NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican nurses
• American Heart Association BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• CRRN certification considered an asset
• Previous inpatient nursing experience preferred
