Float Pool Registered Nurse Job

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Float Pool registered nurses for full-time permanent positions. These roles are designed for dedicated professionals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to apply their expertise across our Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry, departments. This position includes TN visa assistance to qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs as well as licensing services to North American nurses.
With this Float Pool registered nurse position, you will work as a direct employee of the hospital and receive all the benefits that entails.

Qualifications of Float Pool RN:

• Active RN license in specified state. State licensing assistance is available.
• BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting, with experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units strongly preferred.
• Certifications such as BLS, and ACLS from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
• Strong clinical skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• NCLEX for Canadian and Mexican RNs.

Responsibilities and Duties of a Float Pool RN:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units based on rotating assignments.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in a timely and efficient manner.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for any adverse reactions.
• Operate medical equipment necessary for patient care and monitor patient vital signs and telemetry readings.
• Maintain clear and accurate patient records and document all care provided.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Adapt quickly to changing situations and environments, demonstrating problem-solving skills and clinical judgment.
• Participate in educational opportunities to update and maintain nursing skills and knowledge.
