IntelliStaff Medical is seeking experienced Float Pool Registered Nurses for full-time, permanent roles in a respected coastal South Carolina hospital. This opportunity includes TN visa assistance for eligible Canadian and Mexican RNs, as well as U.S. state licensing support for North American nurses.
This position is eligible for premium pay. As a direct hospital employee, you will receive full benefits and the opportunity to work across multiple acute care units while strengthening your clinical versatility.
Contracts are available for 1, 2, or 3 years. Nurses seeking U.S. green card sponsorship may qualify with a 3 to 5 year commitment in accordance with federal immigration requirements.
About the Float Pool RN Role
The Float Pool RN supports hospital operations by planning, coordinating, and delivering patient care across various acute care departments. You will manage a defined group of patients, delegate to ancillary personnel, and assume charge responsibilities when assigned. Practice is performed within the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, hospital policies, and established Nursing Standards of Practice.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active or eligible for South Carolina RN license
- NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican nurses
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care hospital experience required
- American Heart Association BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift
- ACLS certification required
- Strong adaptability, clinical confidence, and ability to transition between units
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care across multiple inpatient units based on daily staffing needs
- Rapidly adapt to different workflows, patient populations, and interdisciplinary teams
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Direct and supervise support staff in executing care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care
