Endoscopy Registered Nurse Job – Full-Time

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Endoscopy Registered Nurses for a full-time permanent position. This opportunity includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs, along with U.S. state licensing support.

With this Endoscopy RN position, you will work as a direct employee of a respected 200+ bed, non-profit acute care hospital in Coastal South Carolina and receive a comprehensive benefits package.

This position offers flexible contract lengths of 1, 2, or 3 years. Nurses interested in pursuing a U.S. green card may qualify with a 3 to 5 year commitment in accordance with federal immigration requirements.

About the Role – Endoscopy RN

The Registered Nurse supports the philosophy of nursing by planning, coordinating, and delivering care to an assigned group of endoscopy patients. The RN directs ancillary personnel in implementing individualized care plans and may assume charge responsibilities as assigned. Practice is carried out within the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, hospital policies, and Nursing Standards of Practice.

Qualifications of Endoscopy RN

• Active or eligible for South Carolina RN license
• NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican RNs
• American Heart Association BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift
• ACLS certification required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Previous endoscopy, procedural, or gastroenterology nursing experience preferred; strong acute care background considered

Responsibilities and Duties of an Endoscopy RN

• Assist with endoscopic procedures including colonoscopies and upper GI procedures
• Monitor patients pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure
• Administer medications and moderate sedation per protocol
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety standards
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and procedural teams
