IntelliStaff Medical is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a full-time permanent position in Ontario, Oregon. This opportunity includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs, along with U.S. state licensing support.

About the Emergency Department

• Level IV Trauma Center serving a diverse rural population
• Approximately 15-bed Emergency Department
• Part of a 50-bed acute care, not-for-profit community hospital
• RN-driven primary nursing care model with strong team collaboration
• Partnership with local ground and air EMS for critical patient transfers
• Exposure to patients of all ages and acuity levels

Qualifications – Emergency Department RN

• Active Oregon RN license required prior to hire
• Idaho RN license required within six months of hire
• Minimum one year of Emergency Department RN experience preferred
• Experience caring for critical patients and strong triage skills preferred
• NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican RNs
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
• TNCC required within one year of hire

Responsibilities and Duties of an Emergency Room RN

• Perform rapid assessments and prioritize care in a high-acuity Emergency Department
• Provide trauma-informed care in a Level IV Trauma Center
• Collaborate with EMS, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Stabilize, treat, and prepare patients for admission or transfer
• Deliver patient-centred care aligned with national safety and quality standards
