Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead nursing operations within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Rehabilitation setting. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all nursing services, ensuring high-quality resident care, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

Compensation

  • $150,000 – $165,000 USD annually

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all nursing services within the facility
  • Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and care standards
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and performance management
  • Conduct daily rounds to assess resident care and nursing performance
  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and equipment needs
  • Oversee infection control programs and safety initiatives
  • Ensure accurate documentation, incident reporting, and care planning
  • Participate in quality improvement and facility-wide committees
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and ongoing development for nursing staff
  • Be available on-call for operational or clinical emergencies

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in long-term care
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
