Critical Care ICU Registered Nurse Job

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse for a full-time permanent position in Northern California. This opportunity includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs, along with U.S. state licensing support.

• Level III Trauma services with high-acuity patient population

Qualifications – ICU Registered Nurse

• Current and valid California RN license required prior to hire
• NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican RNs
• Minimum one year of acute care RN experience required; critical care experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current BLS certification required upon hire
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation required within 30 days of hire
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred

Responsibilities and Duties of an ICU RN

• Deliver safe, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide direct care to critically ill patients within scope of practice
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring and interpret diagnostic results
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Respond rapidly and accurately to clinical changes and emergencies
• Maintain patient privacy, safety and high standards of ICU nursing care
