Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) | USA TN Visa Sponsorship

IntelliStaff Medical is recruiting Canadian and Mexican Registered Nurses for full-time Medical-Surgical positions with a community hospital employer in East Texas. These direct-hire opportunities offer TN visa sponsorship and a structured clinical preceptorship.

RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to hospitalized patients.
• Assess patient conditions and administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Apply telemetry monitoring skills where needed and escalate abnormal findings.
• Provide IV therapies, wound management and postoperative care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients and families.
• Provide occasional float coverage to an additional hospital campus or inpatient rehabilitation unit.

Minimum Requirements

• Canadian or Mexican citizenship.
• Successfully passed the NCLEX-RN examination.
• At least one year of recent acute-care hospital RN experience.
• Medical-Surgical experience preferred; telemetry exposure preferred, and training may be available.
• Eligible for TN visa status to work as a Registered Nurse in the United States.
• Able to obtain an appropriate U.S. state RN licence.
• Willing to obtain a VisaScreen certificate or other accepted health worker certification, as applicable.
• Willingness to relocate and work night shifts according to hospital requirements.

Schedule and Onboarding

• Preferred night schedule: 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.; three 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week).
• Every other weekend and holiday, as scheduled.
• Anticipated starts: December 2026 to January 2027.
• Entry-level paid-time-off accrual: 6.46 hours per pay period.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base pay: $30.00–$43.00 USD per hour.
• Night shift differential of $5.50 per hour.
• Weekend differential of $2.00 per hour.
• Medical, dental and vision coverage beginning on the 31st day of full-time employment.
• 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching and vesting requirements.
• Student loan assistance up to $300 per month after 90 days, subject to eligibility and a $25,000 lifetime cap.
• Tuition reimbursement up to $3,500 annually after six months of employment.
• RN licence and certification renewal allowance up to $125 annually.
• Paid time off based on years of service.
• Approximately six weeks of individualized unit preceptorship.
• No routine on-call.
