IntelliStaff Medical is recruiting experienced Canadian Registered Nurses for a full-time Emergency Department RN opportunity with a highly respected acute care hospital in Southern California. This position offers the opportunity to work in a busy Emergency Department providing care to patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, trauma, and emergency conditions.

• Approximately $43.68 to $62.41 USD per hour

RN Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage
• Monitor patient condition and respond quickly to changes in status
• Administer medications and emergency treatments as ordered
• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Interpret diagnostic findings and communicate critical information
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA requirements and patient safety standards
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Canadian citizenship required for TN visa eligibility
• NCLEX-RN completed
• VisaScreen completed or in progress
• Current Registered Nurse license
• Minimum one year of Emergency Department or acute care nursing experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• PALS certification required within 30 days of hire
• Emergency nursing certifications preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
