IntelliStaff Medical is recruiting experienced Canadian Registered Nurses for a full-time Emergency Department RN opportunity with a highly respected acute care hospital in Southern California. This position offers the opportunity to work in a busy Emergency Department providing care to patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, trauma, and emergency conditions.
This role is ideal for Emergency Room nurses seeking higher earning potential, advanced clinical experience, excellent weather, and a long-term opportunity in the United States.

Compensation
- Approximately $43.68 to $62.41 USD per hour
- Night shift differentials may apply

RN Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
- Perform rapid patient assessments and triage
- Monitor patient condition and respond quickly to changes in status
- Administer medications and emergency treatments as ordered
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Interpret diagnostic findings and communicate critical information
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records
- Ensure compliance with EMTALA requirements and patient safety standards
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
Qualifications
- Canadian citizenship required for TN visa eligibility
- NCLEX-RN completed
- VisaScreen completed or in progress
- Current Registered Nurse license
- Minimum one year of Emergency Department or acute care nursing experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS certification required within 30 days of hire
- Emergency nursing certifications preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
