Telemetry Registered Nurse Position in Southeast Texas

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Telemetry Registered Nurses for full-time permanent positions in Southeast Texas. This position includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs as well as licensing support for North American nurses.

Qualifications of a Telemetry RN

• Active RN license in the State of Texas; licensing assistance is available
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BSN preferred
• NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican RNs
• BLS certification required
• Unit-specific competencies completed within 6 months of hire
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States under TN visa requirements for Canadian and Mexican citizens

Responsibilities and Duties of a Telemetry RN

• Provide professional nursing care using assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor patients with cardiac and telemetry needs while responding to changes in patient condition
• Interpret telemetry data and communicate changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments safely while understanding indications, contraindications, and patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support individualized patient care plans
• Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel in accordance with the Texas Nurse Practice Act
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with hospital standards
• Implement interventions to stabilize patients and prevent complications
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Support a safe and compassionate care environment for patients of all age groups admitted to the unit
