Full-Time Permanent Position
IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Registered Nurses for full-time, permanent Telemetry positions at a Level III Trauma Center in the Boise area of Idaho.
This opportunity includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican Registered Nurses, as well as Idaho licensing assistance for North American nurses.

Qualifications of a Telemetry RN
- Active Idaho or multistate Registered Nurse licence or eligibility for state licensing assistance
- Registered Nurses practising under a multistate licence must establish Idaho residency within 60 days of hire
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- NCLEX-RN successfully completed
- Current Basic Life Support certification required at the time of hire
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification required within six months of hire
- Recent acute-care, telemetry, cardiac or medical-surgical nursing experience preferred
- Canadian or Mexican citizenship required for candidates seeking TN visa assistance
- Strong cardiac assessment and rhythm-interpretation skills
- Ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
- Strong communication, organization and critical-thinking skills
Responsibilities and Duties of a Telemetry RN
- Provide professional nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring
- Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings
- Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms and initiate appropriate interventions
- Complete comprehensive physical and psychosocial patient assessments
- Develop, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
- Administer prescribed medications, IV therapies and cardiac treatments
- Perform clinical procedures necessary to support positive patient outcomes
- Evaluate patients’ responses to medications and clinical interventions
- Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and other clinical professionals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Prepare patients for cardiac testing, procedures and consultations
- Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions, medications and ongoing care
- Coordinate discharge planning and transitions to the next level of care
- Document patient assessments, interventions and outcomes accurately
- Operate cardiac monitoring and patient-care equipment safely
- Follow hospital safety policies, clinical protocols and professional nursing standards
- Practise according to the rules and regulations of the Idaho Board of Nursing
