NCLEX
If you have not completed your NCLEX exam, we will be happy to guide you through the process. We will even reimburse you after your 12th week on assignment for taking the NCLEX*.

English Proficiency
Your Spanish language skills will be an asset in your career and will set you apart from other candidates. However as part of the immigration process English proficiency​ test results will need to be disclosed. TOEFL and IELTS are the most common. However if you have another form of proof proficiency please talk to your recruiter.

Provincial/State License
Your recruiter will assist you with getting the correct provincial or state license. We will even reimburse you any licensure fees after your 12th week on assignment**.

VisaScreen Certificate
A comprehensive screening service for healthcare professionals seeking an occupational visa to work in the United States or Canada is called a Visa Credentials Assessment. Applicants who successfully complete the assessment receive an official ICHP Certificate that satisfies the United States or Canadian Federal screening requirements.

TN Visa
As a Mexican nurse you are eligible for TN Visa (non-immigrant) under North American trade agreements. This is valid for up to 3 years. If you and the client desire for you to stay longer, we can assist with renewals. The TN visa gives you the flexibility to stay as little or as long as you would like. IntelliStaff Medical will take care of all the complicated stuff and has even partnered with an immigration lawyer that will walk you through what to expect at the border so it's not intimidating

In-person Visa Appointment at the U.S. or Canadian Consulate
A Consular officer will review your TN work visa application in-person and will either approve or deny your application. If the application is approved, the Consular officer will issue a visa stamp in your passport. You can then use the TN visa to seek admission to the U.S. or Canada at a Port of Entry, and upon admission, an electronic I-94 Arrival/Departure Record will be created, which serves as your official TN status documentation.

Start orientation. If you have any questions, just give us a call and we will help you along the way.

Pay
You are paid bimonthly. You will need to submit time-sheets that are signed by your supervisor every week.

Finish Your Travel Nurse Job
When you have completed your full assignment, travel is provided for you to go home or to your next assignment. Many assignments might even extend.

*NCLEX reimbursement will occur for nurses who took the NCLEX after being asked to do so by IntelliStaff Medical. The reimbursement will occur after the nurse has successfully completed 12 weeks of employment with IntelliStaff Medical.

** IntelliStaff Medical will reimburse state licenses that are necessary for the nurse to take the IntelliStaff assignment after the nurse has successfully completed 12 weeks of employment with Intellistaff Medical in that assignment.
