Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) | USA TN Visa Sponsorship

IntelliStaff Medical is recruiting Canadian and Mexican Registered Nurses for full-time Medical-Surgical positions with a hospital employer in the Rio Grande Valley region of South Texas. These direct-hire opportunities offer TN visa sponsorship.

RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
• Assess clinical conditions and administer medications and IV therapies.
• Perform wound care and support postoperative recovery as appropriate.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide discharge education.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and follow patient safety practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Canadian or Mexican citizenship.
• Successfully passed the NCLEX-RN examination.
• At least one year of recent acute-care hospital RN experience.
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Eligible for TN visa status to work as a Registered Nurse in the United States.
• Able to obtain an appropriate U.S. state RN licence.
• Willing to obtain a VisaScreen certificate or other accepted health worker certification, as applicable.
• Willingness to relocate and work night shifts according to hospital requirements.

Schedule and Onboarding

• Night shift is the primary need.
• Anticipated starts: December 2026 to January 2027.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base pay: $29.00–$41.74 USD per hour.
• Night differential of $5.50 per hour.
• Evening differential of $2.50 per hour when applicable.
• Weekend differential of $4.00 per hour; weekend nights may qualify for total differentials of up to $9.50 per hour.
• Medical, dental and vision coverage beginning on the 31st day of full-time employment.
• 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching and vesting requirements.
• Student loan assistance up to $300 per month after 90 days, subject to eligibility and a $25,000 lifetime cap.
• Tuition reimbursement up to $3,500 annually after six months of employment.
• RN licence and certification renewal allowance up to $125 annually.
• Paid time off based on years of service.
