IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Circulators for full-time, permanent positions at a hospital in Southern Illinois. Qualifications of an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator

• Canadian or Mexican citizenship required for TN visa eligibility
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
• NCLEX-RN successfully completed
• Active Illinois Registered Nurse licence or eligibility to obtain one
• Recent Operating Room Registered Nurse, perioperative RN or RN Circulator experience
• Experience circulating surgical procedures and maintaining Operating Room safety
• Strong communication, documentation and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers and interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities of an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator

• Provide perioperative Registered Nurse care throughout surgical procedures
• Coordinate patient care before, during and immediately after surgery
• Advocate for patients while they are under anesthesia
• Maintain the integrity of the sterile field
• Confirm that surgical instruments, supplies and equipment are available and functioning
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers and other Operating Room professionals
• Complete accurate and timely perioperative nursing documentation
• Follow surgical safety, infection-prevention and medication-administration protocols
• Provide detailed patient handover reports to the post-anesthesia care team
• Maintain a safe, organized and efficient Operating Room

Registered Nurse Compensation and Incentives

• $31.25 to $46.88 USD per hour
• Performance-based bonus may be available, subject to eligibility and established performance metrics
• Evening, night and weekend incentives may be available based on hospital policies and eligible job codes
