Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) – Relocate to the USA

IntelliStaff Medical is recruiting experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses for priority opportunities with U.S. hospitals.

These are full-time, permanent, direct-hire positions. Successful candidates will be employed directly by the hospital and receive the compensation, benefits and career opportunities that come with hospital employment.

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Assessing and triaging patients experiencing illnesses, injuries and medical emergencies
• Providing rapid, evidence-based nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Stabilizing patients with critical or life-threatening conditions
• Administering medications, IV therapy and emergency treatments
• Monitoring patients and responding quickly to changes in condition
• Assisting with trauma, cardiac, respiratory and neurological emergencies
• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, paramedics and other clinical professionals
• Educating patients and families about treatment and discharge instructions
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Following hospital safety, infection-control and patient-care standards

Emergency Room RN Requirements

• Canadian or Mexican citizenship; required for TN visa eligibility
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current Canadian or U.S. Registered Nurse licence
• Successful completion of the NCLEX-RN
• Minimum one year of recent Emergency Department, Emergency Room or Emergency Medicine nursing experience
• Strong English communication skills
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification may be required
• TNCC certification is preferred
• VisaScreen certificate or ability to obtain one
• Eligibility to obtain an RN licence in the applicable U.S. state
• Willingness to relocate to the United States

Emergency Department RN Compensation

• Pay: $31–$55 USD per hour; approximately $43–$76 CAD per hour
• Potential sign-on bonus: Up to $30,000 USD; approximately $41,526 CAD
• Bonus availability depends on the facility, candidate qualifications and employment commitment
• Sign-on bonuses may require a one-, two- or three-year employment commitment
• Final compensation is based on experience, qualifications, location and hospital pay structure
