Position Overview

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in Southern Illinois. In this role, you will provide safe, high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse adult patient population while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while developing your clinical skills in a supportive community hospital environment.

This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.

Compensation

Base Rate:
$31.25 – $46.88 USD/hour

Bonus & Incentives

Qualifications of Medical/Surgical RN

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Canadian or Mexican citizenship required for TN visa eligibility
• Active Illinois RN license or eligibility for Illinois licensure
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NCLEX required
• VisaScreen completed or in process preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• One year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to adult Medical/Surgical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans using the nursing process
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes promptly to the healthcare team
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
• Supervise and coordinate delegated nursing care as appropriate
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and excellent patient experiences
• Support a collaborative, respectful, and patient-centred care environment
