Position Overview
IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in Southern Illinois. In this role, you will provide safe, high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse adult patient population while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while developing your clinical skills in a supportive community hospital environment.
This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.
Compensation
Base Rate:
$31.25 – $46.88 USD/hour
Bonus & Incentives

Qualifications of Medical/Surgical RN
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Canadian or Mexican citizenship required for TN visa eligibility
- Active Illinois RN license or eligibility for Illinois licensure
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NCLEX required
- VisaScreen completed or in process preferred
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
- One year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to adult Medical/Surgical patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans using the nursing process
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes promptly to the healthcare team
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately
- Coordinate patient care with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
- Supervise and coordinate delegated nursing care as appropriate
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Promote patient safety, quality improvement, and excellent patient experiences
- Support a collaborative, respectful, and patient-centred care environment
