Position Overview

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in Southern Illinois. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse adult patient population while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.

This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.

Compensation

Base Rate:
$31.25 – $46.88 USD/hour

Bonus & Incentives

Qualifications of Medical/Surgical RN

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Canadian or Mexican citizenship required for TN visa eligibility
  • Active Illinois RN license or eligibility for Illinois licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • NCLEX required
  • VisaScreen completed or in process preferred
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  • One year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide safe, high-quality nursing care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in clinical status
  • Develop, coordinate, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge planning
  • Advocate for patients while promoting quality, safety, and compassionate care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Support admissions, transfers, and discharge planning
  • Foster a collaborative, patient-centred healthcare environment
