This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.

Compensation

Base Rate:
$31.25 – $46.88/hour

Qualifications of Emergency Department RN

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Canadian or Mexican citizenship required for TN visa eligibility
• Active Illinois RN license or eligibility for Illinois licensure
• NCLEX required
• VisaScreen completed or in process preferred
• Emergency Department experience preferred
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred
• PALS and TNCC considered an asset

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of illnesses and injuries
• Perform rapid patient assessments and initiate appropriate interventions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency treatments
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, EMS personnel, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Assist during medical emergencies, trauma cases, and resuscitations
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Promote a safe, compassionate, and patient-centred emergency care environment
