Position Overview

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking experienced Cardiac Catheterization Lab Registered Nurses (RNs) for a full-time opportunity in South Texas. This role is ideal for nurses with Cath Lab or critical care experience who thrive in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment.

This position requires a 3-year commitment. Excellent opportunity for Canadian RNs seeking long-term U.S. employment, strong earning potential, and permanent residency sponsorship.

This opportunity is open to Canadian citizens eligible for the TN visa.

Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.

Qualifications of Cath Lab RN

• Canadian citizenship (required for TN visa eligibility)
• NCLEX-RN completed
• VisaScreen (CGFNS) completed or in process
• Active RN license (or eligibility) in Texas
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or critical care experience required
• ICU, CVICU, or Emergency Department experience considered an asset
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities and Duties

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist cardiologists during angioplasty, stent placement, and electrophysiology procedures
• Monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures
• Recognize and respond quickly to complications such as arrhythmias or bleeding
• Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab monitoring and diagnostic equipment
• Provide post-procedure monitoring and patient education
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely and accurately
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with patient safety standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes
