Position Overview
IntelliStaff Medical is hiring Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) for a full-time opportunity in Southern California. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy cardiac-focused patient care and working in a fast-paced acute care environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
This position requires a 3-year commitment. Excellent opportunity for Canadian RNs looking for long-term stability, U.S. experience, and permanent residency sponsorship.
This opportunity is open to Canadian citizens eligible for the TN visa.
Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.
Compensation
- $41.50 – $60.94 USD/hour based on experience
- Night shift differentials available

Qualifications of Telemetry RN
- Canadian citizenship (required for TN visa eligibility)
- NCLEX-RN completed
- VisaScreen (TruMerit) completed or in process
- Active RN license (or eligibility) in California
- BLS certification required upon hire
- ACLS certification required within 30 days
- Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days
- Previous acute care hospital experience preferred
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients with cardiac and medical conditions
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and identify changes in patient condition
- Communicate clinical updates and diagnostic results with physicians and care teams
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and cardiac-related treatments safely
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and patient deterioration
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
