Position Overview

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Kansas City region. In this role, you will provide advanced, life-saving care to critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring and complex interventions.

This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.

Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rates based on experience

Qualifications of ICU RN

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
• Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of Kansas
• NCLEX required
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation required within 30 days
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience; ICU or critical care experience preferred
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide advanced, life-saving nursing care to critically ill patients
• Perform continuous patient assessments including hemodynamic and physiologic monitoring
• Manage ventilators, infusion pumps, and other life-support equipment
• Administer IV medications, fluids, and blood products with precision
• Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to adjust complex care plans
• Monitor and interpret diagnostic results and patient responses to treatment
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
