Position Overview

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Kansas City region. In this role, you will provide rapid, high-quality care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.

Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rates based on experience

Qualifications of Emergency Room RN

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
• Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of Kansas
• NCLEX required
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS and PALS (or ENPC) required within 30 days of hire
• Basic arrhythmia interpretation required within 30 days
• Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience; ER experience preferred
• CEN certification preferred

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform rapid triage, assessment, and prioritization of patients based on acuity
• Provide emergency care for trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and acute illnesses
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions quickly and accurately
• Assist with resuscitation efforts including CPR and defibrillation
• Prepare and maintain equipment for emergency procedures such as intubation and central line placement
• Monitor patient responses and respond immediately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, effective care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, real-time documentation in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure compliance with patient safety standards and emergency care protocols
