Position Overview
IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Neuro-Vascular/Cardiac Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Detroit Metro region. In this role, you will care for patients with neurological and cardiovascular conditions, including stroke, cardiac events, and complex medical cases requiring close monitoring.
This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.
Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rates based on experience
- $15,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates (details discussed during interview)

Qualifications of Neuro/Cardiac RN
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
- Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of Michigan
- NCLEX required
- BLS required upon hire
- ACLS preferred within 30 days of hire
- Previous acute care experience preferred
- Experience with cardiac monitoring or neuro patients considered an asset
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological and cardiovascular conditions
- Perform detailed patient assessments, including neurological checks and cardiac monitoring
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor for changes in neurological status
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
- Recognize and respond quickly to stroke symptoms, cardiac events, and changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and recovery plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and patient safety standards
- Support continuity of care through discharge planning and patient education
