Position Overview

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Northern Nevada region. In this role, you will support advanced cardiac procedures and provide critical care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional treatments.

This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.

Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.

Qualifications of Cath Lab RN

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
  • Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
  • Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of Nevada
  • NCLEX required
  • BLS and ACLS required upon hire
  • Recent acute care or Cath Lab experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
  • Monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures
  • Assist physicians during procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, and other cardiac interventions
  • Recognize and respond quickly to changes in patient condition and procedural complications
  • Administer medications, including sedation and cardiac-related therapies
  • Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments and ensure patient stability
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital standards
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
  • Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
