Position Overview
IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time opportunities with a U.S. hospital in the Central Maine region. In this role, you will provide specialized cardiac and critical care to patients with acute heart conditions in a high-acuity environment.
This opportunity is open to Canadian and Mexican citizens eligible for the TN visa.
Green card and permanent residency sponsorship is available for qualified candidates after 3 months of employment.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rates based on experience
- $15,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates (details discussed during interview)

Qualifications of CCU RN
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Canadian or Mexican citizenship (TN visa eligibility required)
- Active RN license (or eligibility) in the State of Maine
- NCLEX required
- BLS required upon hire
- ACLS required within 30 days of hire
- Basic arrhythmia interpretation required within 30 days
- Previous acute care experience required; cardiac or critical care experience preferred
- Ventilator management experience preferred
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients with acute cardiac conditions such as myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, and heart failure
- Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms, hemodynamics, and vital signs
- Interpret ECGs and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
- Administer cardiac medications, IV infusions, and titratable drips safely and accurately
- Assist with advanced cardiac procedures and interventions as needed
- Recognize and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and cardiac emergencies
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and patient safety standards
