CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) Job

IntelliStaff Medical is seeking a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse for a full-time permanent position in Northern California. This opportunity includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs, along with U.S. state licensing support.

Qualifications – CVOR Registered Nurse

• Active California RN license required prior to hire
• NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican RNs
• Minimum one year of perioperative or CVOR experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) required upon hire
• ACLS and PALS required within 30 days of hire
• CNOR certification preferred
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities and Duties of a CVOR RN

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care using the nursing process
• Collaborate closely with cardiovascular surgeons and anesthesia providers
• Coordinate patient care across surgical and interdisciplinary teams
• Direct and support OR technicians and surgical staff
• Ensure compliance with AORN standards, hospital policies, and national patient safety guidelines
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
