IntelliStaff Medical is seeking a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse for a full-time permanent position in Northern California. This opportunity includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs, along with U.S. state licensing support.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CVOR nurse who thrives in a high-acuity perioperative environment and enjoys working alongside cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesia teams, and highly specialized OR professionals.
Qualifications – CVOR Registered Nurse
- Active California RN license required prior to hire
- NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican RNs
- Minimum one year of perioperative or CVOR experience required
- BLS certification (AHA) required upon hire
- ACLS and PALS required within 30 days of hire
- CNOR certification preferred
- BSN preferred
Responsibilities and Duties of a CVOR RN
- Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care using the nursing process
- Collaborate closely with cardiovascular surgeons and anesthesia providers
- Coordinate patient care across surgical and interdisciplinary teams
- Direct and support OR technicians and surgical staff
- Ensure compliance with AORN standards, hospital policies, and national patient safety guidelines
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
