IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses for a full-time permanent position in Southern Illinois. This opportunity includes TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs, as well as U.S. state licensing support for North American nurses.

With this Medical/Surgical RN position, you will work as a direct employee of the hospital and receive full hospital benefits, competitive compensation, and long-term career growth opportunities.

Employment Options

• 1-year term (13 months)
• 3-year+ term

For nurses interested in long-term opportunities, green card sponsorship may be considered after six months of successful performance for those committing to a 3+ year term.

Qualifications of Medical/Surgical RN

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; state licensing assistance available
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• NCLEX required for Canadian and Mexican RNs
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross BLS certification required upon hire
• At least one year of previous clinical experience preferred; strong new graduates may be considered

Responsibilities and Duties of a Medical/Surgical RN

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Deliver safe, comprehensive nursing care in accordance with state regulations, hospital policies, and Joint Commission standards
• Demonstrate clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and sound judgment in day-to-day patient care
• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery
• Work closely with patients and families in a supportive, team-focused environment
• Monitor, operate, and manage medical equipment as needed
• Coordinate results and communicate effectively with the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
