IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses for full-time, permanent night shift positions in South Texas. These roles include TN visa assistance for qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs, as well as licensing support for North American nurses.

In this position, you will work as a direct employee of the hospital, gaining access to full employee benefits and long-term professional development opportunities.

Qualifications of a Medical/Surgical RN:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

  • Current RN license in Texas (licensing support available)

  • NCLEX-RN required for Canadian and Mexican RNs

  • Current BLS certification

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Prior hospital experience preferred, especially in a Medical Unit

  • Must be a Canadian or Mexican citizen to qualify for TN visa sponsorship

Responsibilities and Duties of a Medical/Surgical RN:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care aligned with the Texas Nurse Practice Act and ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice

  • Act as a patient advocate throughout the intraoperative and post-operative care experience

  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

  • Monitor patient vitals and equipment, assist during procedures, and respond promptly to patient and physician needs

  • Adhere to hospital policies related to infection control, safety, and risk management

  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and clinical excellence through professional development

  • Provide culturally competent, age-appropriate care across a wide patient population

  • Exhibit professionalism, communication skills, and accountability in all aspects of patient care
