IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Float Pool registered nurses for full-time permanent positions. These roles are designed for dedicated professionals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to apply their expertise across our Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU departments. This position includes TN visa assistance to qualified Canadian and Mexican RNs as well as licensing services to North American nurses.
With this Float Pool registered nurse position, you will work as a direct employee of the hospital and receive all the benefits that entails.
Qualifications of Float Pool RN:
- Active RN license in specified state. State licensing assistance is available.
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, with direct experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU highly desirable.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills suitable for high-pressure environments.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams.
- NCLEX for Canadian and Mexican RNs.
Responsibilities and Duties of a Float Pool RN:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU units, adapting skills and techniques to the specific setting and patient population.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop detailed care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following all hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to medical emergencies with appropriate interventions.
- Maintain clear and precise documentation of patient status and care provided.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, recovery, and home care preparations.
- Float between departments as required, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to quickly integrate into different teams.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to remain proficient in the latest healthcare practices and technology across all assigned units.
