IntelliStaff Medical is seeking Emergency Room registered nurses for full-time travel positions.

Details

  • 13-week job assignment length
  • 36 hours per week
  • 7pm-7am shift.
  •  Call Requirements: No 
  • Patient Ratios: 1:4 – 1:6; Exceptions to this can occur if nurse has a discharge that is awaiting transportation or admit holds or high-volume days and a patient requires immediate care. 

Qualifications of Emergency Room RN:

  • Active RN license in specified state. State licensing assistance is available.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degrees in nursing.
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care, NIH, PALS or ENPC  
  • One year of recent experience as an Emergency Room RN is preferred.
  • One year of recent experience as an RN is required.
  • TN visa sponsorship is available to Canadian and Mexican RNs.

Responsibilities and Duties of an Emergency Room RN:

  • Provide life-saving care, complex assessments, high intensity therapies and interventions to both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Communicate closely with all members of the medical team as well as families and patients.
  • Educating, supporting, and comforting families during their medical crisis.
  • Recognize the need for early intervention and notifying team members.
  • Provide numerous medical procedures which include but are not limited to IV insertion, intubation, medicine administration, blood drawing, etc.
  • Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing.
